Autobiographers
An autobiographer is someone who writes their own biography or story of their own life.
An autobiography is a literary work about the writer's own life.
An autobiography is usually based entirely on the writer's memory, perhaps supported by kept diaries. Memoirs are closely associated with an autobiography, it sometimes being difficult to precisely distinguish between them. Autobiographies usually focus on the "life and times" of the writer, whilst a memoir has a narrower, more intimate focus on the memories, feelings and emotions of the writer.

There are autobiographies written by people from all walks of life. People have written the story of their lives for many centuries. In the modern era thousands of "celebrities" have written about their lives. A search for autobiographies in web pages such as Amazon - UK, Amazon USA and Good Reads - 30,788 results reveals the enormous numbers involved.
