This goal of this project is to help clairfy the parentage of John Beebe Jr., husband of Rebecca Ladd, whom died while immigrating to the United States on board the S.S. Speedwell on May 18, 1650. Many individuals of Beebe descent in the United States today can trace their lineage back to this John Beebe Jr.
However, the Beebe family has two John Beebe's, whom happen to be cousins with father's named John Beebe. It has come to attention that some Beebe family researches attach the immigrant John Beebe Jr., to his cousin’s parents. John Beebe Jr.'s mother has never been known.
