The Bissett School of Business - named after philanthropist David Bissett who gifted the School of Business $12 million – occupies a state of the art purpose built building that was opened in 2003 on the Lincoln Park Campus of Mount Royal University. In Fall 2010, there were over 2,100 full and part-time Bissett students enrolled at Mount Royal. The Bissett School of Business includes the national Institute for Nonprofit Studies (launched in 2002) and the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (launched in 2012). The 40 year legacy Mount Royal Aviation diploma is also a program in the Bissett School of Business and Mount Royal's aircraft fly out of the Mount Royal hangar and satellite campus at the Springbank Airport.
