Location: on the western side of Davis Island near the ruins of Hurricane Plantation, A road once connected the plantations on the island to the rest of Warren County, but a change in the Mississippi River in 1867 made Brierfield Cemetery and Hurricane Plantation inaccessible by land. Location about 4 miles west of Immanuel Baptist Church off Highway 61 south of Vicksburg, S12 T14 R1W. Condition deplorable, Usage: no longer used, Date recorded: March 19, 1986 from files at the Old Court House Museum in Vicksburg.
