Burke's Peerage - 107th Edition

C

This is the umbrella page for names beginning with the letter C.

The purpose of the project is to establish Geni projects for those families whose genealogical tables are included in Burke's Peerage - Baronetage & Knightage - Clan Chiefs Scottish Feudal Barons 107th Edition - 2003.

This project aims to enrich the Geni Family Tree with the details of families listed in the above publication. It is not intended to be a collection of profiles, so please do not link profiles to this project. Geni sub projects will be set up for individual families where profiles sourced to this publication can be linked.

If you have access to this publication and would like to be involved please collaborate on the project.

How to use this Project

If a name in the list below has a profile and tree on Geni please set up a sub-project (linked to this project) for that tree. (Ask June to do so if you would rather as she has a template that can be used). . It is then a matter of working through the Geni tree hand in hand with the information in the Burke's published table, making notes in the sub-project related to the profiles if there is extra information, (sources etc.), or if irregularities are found.

Alternatively add a link to the profile in the tree under the name so that it can be developed by someone later

Geni profiles that appear in the Burke's published tree can be linked to the sub-project. Related queries can be made using a discussion linked to the sub-project.
If you have any suggestions on how to improve the usefulness of the projects please get in touch!
