It started for people of CANADA looking for European ancestors and other Canadian geni-users who can share there information about how to find your relatives in others countries where distances are to long to walk, step or bike, archives are to far to ride and planes to oil-spending to use for a hike....
But also a lot of European geni-users lost profiles in their ancestry when their grand-mothers-&-or-fathers decided to leave there birth-places and took their children to get boats & planes to explore new territories. Canadian people might be able to help them to find their pedigree and join families again.
