Connecting the Levin family to the Horwitz / Mandelowsky families

Family lore is that this family is connected to the Mandelowsky and Horwitz families. Allegedly, Meyer is related to Harris Mandelowsky, and Bessie/Betsey is related to Yetta Horwitz. (Harris is married to Yetta).

My goal is to find out _how_ they are connected, and to hook up this branch with another tree.

As a side note: their son, Mark Nevin, became a famous pianist and music educator.

We found a cite to NYC Marriage Cert # 35501 (1884). Obtaining this may reveal names (incl. possibly maiden names) of both sets of parents
