From the1890s to the 1930s, 1/3 of the population immigrated from the parish of Czernielów Mazowiecki and its neighbouring villages (Bajkowce, Borki Wielkie, Czernielów Ruski, Czołhańszczyzna, Kujdańce, Rusianówka, Romanówka, Stupki, and Smykowce).

The purpose of this project is to help researchers connect the original settlers to their ancestors in Austria/Poland.

Due to volume, this project will focus only on the original settlers (husband and wife) and not their immigrating minor children or descendants. In the event that a spouse is not listed, it should be assumed that the spouse (if any) was not born or did not live in the parish of Czernielów Mazowiecki or its neighbouring villages.

(As a number of residents moved from the parish of Czernielów to the parish of Zbaraż or vice versa, a separate immigration project for Zbaraż is also available on Geni).
