

On May 26th, 1944, 571 former internees left Italy (most from Ferramonti) for Palestine (current status, 384 entered, 69 children (possible alive), 69 no additional data know, 7 were not in the group or duplicated, 42 to go) on the first emigration transport authorized by the British mandatory government. The complete list was part of the edition of 7/28/1944 of the Aufbau newspaper, printed by the Jewish German speaking community in the US.
