In 2014 The Times published Great Women's Lives - A Celebration in Obituaries. The obituaries featured range from 1872 to 2014 and feature the lives of the 125 women listed below. All, in their own way, played an important part in women's educational, professional, social, cultural and emotional journeys.

ISBN 0750960566 - forward by Lucy Worsley; Editor Sue Corbett.

The purpose of this project is to connect the women included in the publication to existing family trees on Geni, and where they are not yet included to build trees for them. This is not a listing of ALL great women - it features only those women whose obituaries are included in the book. They will probably also be included in various projects dedicated to amazing women. These are linked to this project in the listing of related projects on the right.

Featured Women

The women are arranged chronologically in the book - here they are listed alphabetically with the page numbers added.
