
A large cemetery of 42 acres, but in two different locations.
This location for the Greenwood Cemetery is the oldest and largest location, with 33 acres. It has it's own entrance and is on the south side of SR 214, just half a mile above the village of Bellaire. Obituaries and death certificates may use both names. The monument for Eliza (Armstrong) Heatherington, sitting in a chair reading a book, is at the highest point of this cemetery.
The second location is on the opposite side of SR 214. To reach this location, drive pass the first Greenwood Cemetery and continue 0.3 miles further, Turn right into the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, take the cemetery road to the right past the water tower, then bear right into this second location for the Greenwood Cemetery - New Section, aka: Greenwood Cemetery, Upper Greenwood Cemetery.
