Colonel Charles Joseph Leslie, the 26th Baron of Balquhain wrote a three volume history of Leslie family. Descendents of this powerful and influential family have spread across the globe including France, Germany, Russia, Canada, Australia and Jamaica. My g-g-grandmother, Jane Leslie, came to Southern Ontario, Canada in the first half of the 19th century which is the source of my interest to preserving and sharing this history.
