Holy Cross Cemetery (45105) is the largest of the Catholic cemeteries in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. It sits on a rolling hillside in North Lebanon Township northwest of the City of Lebanon. It replaced the Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church Saint Marys Cemetery (2179718) when that cemetery became full and also served the parishioners of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church (now Saint Benedict the Abbot) and Saint Gertrudes Catholic Church (now Saint Cecilia's). Saint Gertrudes Cemetery (155913) still exists. Researchers looking for older interments should check all 3 cemeteries and, as a word of caution, understand there are numerous unmarked graves in each of them.
