This project seeks to collect all of the Jewish families from the towns of Německý Brod/Havlíčkův Brod (Deutsch Brod) in Bohemia, Czech Republic. There is also a Jewish cemetery from 1890 with graves of many Galician refugees from WWI. After the expulsion of the Sudeten Germans, the town was renamed Havlíčkův Brod after Karel Havlíček Borovský. In 1930 census, 146 people registered as having Jewish nationality. The Jewish cemetery was founded in 1888. A stone plaque in the entry way lists all the founders names and their occupations. When I visited in 2016 the cemetery was in verg good shape and well kept.
