Terlitsa, Ukraine

Terlitsya (Терлица Terlitsa [Rus], Терлиця Terlytsia [Ukr], Terlitza [Yid], Terlica [Pol], Terlycja) is a village located in the Monastyrysche area of Ukraine, Cherkassy region.
In 1897, there were 1,191 Jews reportedly living in Terlitsya. At that time, the village was part of the Lipovets District in the Kiev Province of the Russian Empire.
Terlitsya later became part of Soviet Union, listed in the Vinnitsa Distrcit of Ukraine USSR.
Currently Terlitsya is part of Ukraine after the split of the Soviet Union.
