This project is for those buried in Little River Cemetery, Jones Prairie, Milam County, Texas.
This is a beautiful cemetery located next to the Baptist Church. There is no fence which might add to the peaceful setting. There is a historical marker and a very nice pavilion. The graves are scattered throughout this spacious property and some tall older stones are present. There is antique fencing around several family plots and some also have curbing. Benches are located for a visitor’s enjoyment to rest and observe the tranquil location under the big old trees. There is room for expansion. In 2020 there were 1,355 documented burials. The cemetery is also known as Little River Baptist Church Cemetery.
