Home of the C-130 Hercules cargo transport aircraft. Previously following under AETC (Air Education and Training Command), the base is now under AMC (Air Mobility Command). The base base has had several C-130E models, C-130H3 models and C-130J models assigned to both active and Air National Guard units here. The 50th "Red Devils", the 61st "Green Hornets among other units such as the 463rd and 19th Squadrons have been hosted here.
