This is a project to chronicle the the history of and the ancestors of Mayinga Village in Chief Kapichila's area in Lundazi district of Zambia
Mayinga Village, as it stands today, came into existence in 1953. Previously the inhabitants of Mayinga Village were staying in Kajowola Village.
Village Leadership is as follows:
Headman: Joseph Kamusinjilo Mvula
Vice Headman: Kenan Mvula
Assistant: Munawa Aaron Mphande
It has had four (4) headmen as follows:
1. Raighton Uteka from 1953 to 1954
2. Shemu Mvula from 1954 to 1958
3. Satiele Mvula (aka Jere) from 1958 to 2002
4. Joseph Mvula (aka Ulemu) from 2002 to date
