In the 1940 census, Naomi, 29, lived with husband, Max Goldstein, 26, (1913-1966), and son, Charles Lynn Goldstein (b July 1939), at 208 Church Street, Newark, Arcadia, Wayne County, New York (1940 census, ED 59-6, family no. 348, sheet 15A, line 40, affiliate publication number T627, affiliate film no. 2800, digital folder no. 005459481, image no. 00228).

Naomi applied for a Social Security number on 11-20-1951 when she was 41 years old and she and husband, Max Goldstein, lived at 6 Circle Drive, Vestal, NY. She listed her birth name as Naomi DeWitt, her birthplace as Fort Smith, Ark., and her parents as Charles DeWitt and Hadgie McCrasky, and she signed the application as Mrs. Max Goldstein.
On FindAGrave.com, a high school classmate and an experienced researcher found the gravesite information on Naomi's parents, Charles N. DeWitt and Hadjie McCrasky DeWitt, and a brother, Arvel DeWitt.
Charles DeWitt, apparently the namesake for his grandson, Charles Lynn Goldstein, was born 19 Feb 1877 and died 20 Nov 1929 at age 52. Alford McCroskey was born 9 June 1820 and died 30 April 1907 (age 86). He was buried in King Cemetery, Mulberry, Crawford County, Arkansas. Fannie Gilbert McCroskey (1839-1896).
