Native American & White Miscegenation
- {origianally}(or) an example of the mixing of cultures through illicit offspring in the 19th century West.
- {now} encompassing the North American continent
Overview
In the settling of the American West, children were born of "mixed" marriages and other similar associations.
Here is an example of a resulting pedigree from such unions. The stories of the deeds and misdeeds of intertwined relatives are not very well chronicled in the histories of the west. This project attempts to shed some light upon reconverging family ties in an era of conquest, fortune, and misfortune.
