New Zealand Settler Ships - Hereford 1874

Hereford was an iron sailing ship of 1149 tons. She made 3 voyages to Lyttleton, the first in 1874. Left London 18 April arrived Lyttleton 14 July 1874, a voyage of 87 days, under Cpt Elsdon. Each voyage brought approximately 300 immigrants. (White wings Vol 1)
