This cemetery is located in Irving Township in Brown County, Kansas, about halfway between White Cloud and Hiawatha. To get to this cemetery from Hiawatha, go five (5) miles east on old Highway 36, then six (6) miles north on the blacktop. The cemetery is on the right/east side of the road, up above an embankment, on a little hill. It's easy to miss, so count the miles and then watch for it.
Joseph A. Wolfley came to Brown County in 1866, settling on a homestead about halfway between White Cloud and Hiawatha. Some years later he gave four (4) acres of his land for this cemetery and a church. He died in 1937 and was buried in the cemetery. His Find A Grave page is # 19081020.
