This project is for those buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Milam County, Texas.
This nicely maintained, fenced cemetery in far southern Milam County is about 2.5 miles south of the power plant at the site of the now closed Alcoa aluminum plant. The cemetery is completely surrounded by land owned by Alcoa (surrounding land offered for sale in 2016). The easiest approach is to take County Road 313 from US 77. The turn-off is about 6.5 miles south of Rockdale and is marked by a directional sign that says "cemetery."
