There once was a Pringle Family Cemetery located on a one section (640 acres) land grant for Abraham Pringle, on the west bank of the Escambia River near Lang Creek on Section 19, Township 5, Range #30, which was near Bluff Springs and the current city of Century, Escambia County, Florida. An Act of Congress confirmed the grant on 22 April 1826.
Abraham Pringle had six sons and they operated a large sawmill and lumber business. Abraham's oldest son John A. Pringle lived close by. Both families had wives and children that were likely buried on the Pringle plantation near Pringle's Creek. However, no marked graves have been found
