Boylan Origins
Historically the Boylan clan originated from the same area as the Clanaboy O'Neill's. Their stronghold was Eamin Macha, Ulaid, which is now an interesting tourist attraction in County Armagh. The clan also held lands in Louth, Fermanagh & Monaghan with the name clustering in these areas yet today.
