Puthige clan’s gotra is Vishwamitra (Veda is Rig veda) and therefore the family deity is Mahishasuraardhini in Neelavara. Some go to Ullur near Kundapura rly station where Subramanya (Murugan)is worshipped. This depends on which of the 2 pravaras(branches) you belong to. Most probably it’s Neelavara for us. But our Grandfather Raghavendra Rao started treating Kunjargiri Durgaparameshwari as his family diety and hence all of us started treating Kunjargiri as family diety.

Naga temple Vishnumurthy temple Kemthur is about 12 km from Udupi. It comes under Korankapadi P.O.You have to phone 0820 2592056 and ask for Late Sripathi Bhat's son. Name not known. Any taxi in Udupi knows the Kemthur temple . Naga gudi is closeby and he takes care of it.
