The Family Tree of Jacobus Lodewickus Roestorf.
It is believed that Koos Roestorf and two brothers arrived in South Africa in the early 1800's from Germany.
Germany's borders, I think, would have been totally different as we see it today, thus it could possibly have been from the surrounding countries.
The information we have so far was compiled from different sources, a book which was passed from generation to generation, word of mouth, documents etc.
It would be the ideal for as many as possible family members to look at the info, correct if necessary, add and refine.
It would be absolutely amazing if someone else could maybe add to the history if they are family of the two brothers from whom we unfortunately have no information or anybody that knows where they originated from and have info surrounding their country of birth and family that they left behind.
