Searching for my Great Grand Parents. Any help would be highly appreciated. [Jacobus Lodewikus van der Walt]
2015-07-25 The Bernardus name is prominent in our family. My father Johannes Bernardus van der Walt was born in 1956. His father(Jacobus Lodewikus/ this discussion) was born in 1911. My grand parents were quite old when they had children, thus my father never knew his grand parents.
Jacobus Lodewikus had brothers JB van der Walt and JH . We think JB was also a Johannes Bernardus? and JH possibly Jacobus Hendrik? but not sure.
Jacobus Lodewikus was from the Eastern Cape town Dordrecht /Elliot area.
