The amount of mtDNA results coming into public knowledge is increasing by the day, however the amount of profiles covered remains a small proportion of the female progenitors whom arrived to South Africa via ships.
When an unknown mtDNA result becomes known, the profiles in this list could help to narrow down to which female progenitor it could relate to.
This project is for early arrivals, up to the year 1750. This is to keep the list manageable.
