This project is for those buried in St. John's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
St John’s UCC Church was started in 1831 as a Reformed Church and burials started in 1834. The cemetery is located diagonally across the street from St Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery. Section designations are based on facing towards North Washington Street so that the Right Section is towards the northeast and the Left Section is towards the southwest. The oldest burials generally start near North Washington Street with the Right Section having the very oldest tombstones. Newer burials are generally farthest away from North Washington. Nearly all of the tombstones face away from North Washington Street (basically southeast).
