This project is to research and find out more about the Jala family that originated in the village of Kundaram in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. I started this project to see if we can find out more about our Jala ancestors. We all know that most of our parents were born either in Kundaram, Nallakunta, or Hyderabad but where did our ancestors originate from. Sometimes it is annoying when I hear all the Americans talk about their genealogy projects and how they are proud to know so much about their family's history. I hope that this project can help us find out more about Andhra Pradesh's rich and vivid history and how our family lived in the olden times. Throughout the years, I have enjoyed listening to stories about how dad and his siblings grew up in Kundaram and went to school. My personal favorite story happens to be about Thataiah's lifestory and especially about his wives and how Sakkubai Pedhamma was related to Ramulu Pedhanana!
