The Triplett family has a very strong tradition of military service. Going back to Colonial America, up through today. Triplett's served on both sides of the Civil War, owing to their home area being Northern Virginia, with a group heading West to Indiana and Illinois in the 1820's. Since the Triplett family has been in America since the 1660's and most generations had numerous children, this list will likely never be complete to include all Triplett's. I am going to focus on the early ancestors that fought with George Washington, and more recent family since the Civil War. This page will also only focus out to 4th cousin's, because to go any more distant will make it prohibitively large.
