Union Cemetery of Irwin (Pa.) was incorporated in 1873 as a burial site for veterans of the Civil War and their families. It was rededicated in 1905 as a cemetery open to all.
The first memorial is a raised viewing platform with benches honoring those who served in World War II. It is on high ground overlooking the cemetery. The second is a granite marker remembering the unknown dead from the Civil War, created in 1998.
This cemetery is located on 431 Bridge Street, Irwin, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
