To fully understand ancestors one must understand the zeitgeist or their environment. The environment is influenced by governmental acts and policies.

This project delineates statutory or executive acts of the United States Federal Government.

This project is NOT for acts or policies enacted at the STATE level. This project is NOT for acts or policies established by judicial decisions.

Hopefully by understanding of such policies and laws one may enhance research through access to additional sources of information. Ultimately providing the necessary context to tear down the proverbial brick walls.
