This project honors the victims of Soviet military actions against Lithuania on 11 - 13 January 1991. During the January 13, 1991, Soviet attack on Lithuania, 14 civilians were killed and over 160 people were injured, with 26 suffering serious injuries. Many were shot by Soviet troops while attempting to defend the television tower and other government buildings. Most of those killed were shot by Soviet troops who were attempting to crush the Lithuanian government and reclaim control. Two individuals were crushed by tanks.

Please add this project to the profiles of people who were killed or injured during the Soviet Attack on Lithuania in the winter of 1991. If you have photos of the events in Lithuania in January of 1991, days before the attack, defence chains, formed by live people, events during the Soviet military attack on civilians, and the following days of devastation, please add them to this project.
