A lot of persons with profiles here have also wikipedia article and so also a wikidata page. And if the wikidata is "instance of" "human" then very like on the wikidata page is data we on geni can use. Then there is a match.
Geni is an international project so in the general about box you need to use the wikidata page and/or en.wikipedia.org page.
This project can be used to connect the profiles with a wikipedia and/or wikidata link or page. So the wikipedia and/or wikidata specialists can quickly check if the the correct link is used. And if needed remove death links. Or add geni.com links to the wikimedia projects.
Wikidata and wikipedia are wikimedia projects :)
Find a wikidata article quickly
If you need to find quckly the wikidata article with the geni profile, search on the Geni number and you will find the wikidata article, but also the wikidata ariticle number.. Maybe also an idea for a script to create wikidata articles based on geni profiles. Or the other way around. If the wikidata article is about a person, but with no geni number find then the geni number or create a geni profile.
If you can not find the wikidata article this way you know for sure there is not wikidata article about this profile.
