The cemetery is located on Zion Mountain Road [Route 14], in Hinton, Summers County, West Virginia.

Cemetery apparently was started when 3 sons of Ahijah & Etta Willey died from the flu during the epidemic of WW I. Bodies of the 3 boys came back to Hinton on the train, and the flag-covered coffins were taken up Zion Mountain by horse & wagon according to Mr. Charles Brier.
