The Wujastyk family is small, unique and spread out.
The earliest memories of the family seem to take it back to the town of Wysokie and village of Dragany, south of Lublin in Poland (see Wysokie in Google maps).
Some time near about 1925 there were some migrations of Wujastyks from Wysokie (Pawel and Anna) to Brazil and USA (Ludwig, Michal to Ellis Island). Surely there were previous migrations because there were already some Wujastyks in Brazil and USA.
In fact there are also Wujastyks today in Brazil, in Florida, in Chicago, in New York State, and in England and Austria, as well as still in Wysokie.
As the Wujastyk families spread out from Wysokie, we have lost touch with how we are all connected. This project is aimed at trying to rediscover our shared family unique history.
