Grandfather. Arend Jacobus Dippenaar born- 1899 died circu 2011. Married Judith Johanna van Deventer 1900-1944
The next batch of information that I have goes back to the 1700's
Johannes Marthinus Dippenaar, originally Depner, of Wehlau in East Prussia. He came to the Cape in 1735 and became a naturalized in 1746. He died in 1790 on the farm “Groen Valley” along the Olifants River. He married Maria Magdalena Schmidt on 10.11.1748 and they had 10 children.

1. Johannes Marthinus – christened 10.11.1748. A resident of Stellenbosch married to Elisabeth Johanna Liebenberg. 2. Maria Catherina – christened 27.9.1750. Married J P Keyser 3. Hester Margaretha – christened 21.5.1752. Married A Gous. 4. Magdalena Adriana – christened 7.10.1753. Married J C Beukes the married J Grobbelaar 5. Michaelis Christoffel – Christened 2.12.1755. resident of Stellenbosch. Married Anna Smit on 30.3.1777. married again to Maria Elisabeth Erasmus. 6. Andries Petrus – christened 8.1.1758. Resident of Stellenbosch. Married Gerbrecht Christna Vorster on 17.1.1796 7. Adriana Elisabeth – christened 24.2.1760 8. Jacobus – christened 13.6.1762 9. Alwyn Johannes – married Cornelia Margaretha Roelofse. 10. Adrianan Elisabeth – christened 10.5.1767
