I have two Donaldson names in my background. My mother was a Donaldson and married a Donaldson so "I am a Donaldson." Thomas Donaldson b. ca 1770, maybe in New Hanover Co., N.C., d. 1811 Abbeville, S.C. I have all his children's names and birthdates, and I know his second wife was Mary Cook. I do not have any info about his parents or siblings. A man named ____ Donaldson married Sarah Reeve. He died 1830-1840. They had a good family in S.C. After the last child was born 1826, the family moved to the Atlanta area. The first name of the father has been lost, perhaps throug Courthouse fires. I have all his children's names and birthdates and, thanks to a generous researcher, I have the Reeve(s) family back to the 1400s.
