Goldklang Genealogy and Goldklang Family History Information

In the UK (England) my grandfather changed the name to Goldlaing. I am now 53, and remember when I was a child that a relative visited from New York who was a Goldklang.

I am visiting New York in April 2012. Are there are Goldklang's out there who think they may have had a English side of the family who changed name to Goldlaing? My father was Alex who had two sisters Minni and Sadie. All were born around 1920.
