Mercai Michelin was the first Michelin to settle in Labrador. He travelled from ? Sept. Ilse Quebec and married an Inuit woman. They formed a dynasty. I married one of his descendants. Any information about him and his family would be greatly appreciated. Apparently he prounounced the name similar to the name of the French lace.
