To the best of my knowledge yes. My father it seems promised to give it to just about every child he had 5 of us . I didn’t get it so Josh, Sarah, Nathaniel,or Kara most have it.
Albert sold life insurance threw Allstate insurance he had to get I believe 25 cents a month from each person who bought said insurance so he had to travel quit a bit. My father said it was the same insurance that the father figure in the famous book Portnoy‘s complaint sold. When my grade father Albert went to get married to my grade mother ,they had to get permission from rabbis To be sure they came from “ good families “ so my grand fathers Rabi wrote a letter to a Rabi in Europe who knew my grandmother’s family he wrote back that yes they were a “ good family “ and so they were allowed to Marry. My grand mother came here threw Ellis island . Her father had come here first to earn enough money to bring the family here. The family was so poor that when his wife died they had no money for a stamp to send him a letter saying she died. When my grand mother’s family finally had enough money to come here she was to travel with an aunt on the boat . But at the last minute the immigration officials Found out that the aunt had tuberculosis or some communicable disease ,so the aunt was not allowed on the boat. So after my grand mother got to Ellis island she had to wait 3 days there till her father finally found her. At that time this little girl , I believe she was less then 12 years old .had to tell her father that his wife had died.
To the best of my knowledge Charles had one daughter my fathers cousin. Last name Surcy first name Jacky . She lived or lives in Central Park West in NYNY in one of the last few rent contorted apartments. Most rents would be thousands and thousands more . But hers is only a few hundred dollars . She had very little money so when ever she had to travel for family meetings my father sent her money to travel with .
