John LaRose, 76; served in Navy
WATERTOWN -- John Ralph LaRose, 76, a lifelong Watertown resident, died Nov. 21 in his home in Watertown, following a long illness. Born in Watertown, he attended Watertown High School.
Mr. LaRose served with the Navy during World War II, and was a member of Amvets Post 14 in Watertown.

He was a retired tester and foreman at the Hood Rubber/B.F. Goodrich plant in Watertown.

Husband of the late Audrey J. (Damon), he leaves a daughter, Barbara L. Venezia of Watertown; two sons, John A. of Watertown, and Wayne W. of California; a sister, Jean Brackett of Watertown; a brother, James, of West Point, Miss.; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was the father of the late Judith Constantine and Stephen W.; and brother of the late Joseph, Albert, Rose Caloggero, Mary McDowell, Anna Vacca, Viola Grasso, Helen Bagarella, and Rita Bitsoli.

A funeral was held Monday in MacDonald, Rockwell, and MacDonald Funeral Home in Watertown.
