I only know of one Nahomita (Cole).. who is sister to Chief Pushmataha - at least that is what I have read in books. Jack Amos was born March 1830. His maternal grandfather Jean (John) Cravat - one husband to Nahotima. Her spelling in books shows Nahotima and Nahomtima. She was married twice .. Jean Cravat (Frenchman) and Opaha (Full blood Indian) .. her daughters are Rebecca and Nancy Cravat both wives of Louis LeFleur and Phoebe Cravat and Natima wife to Charles Juzan.
Nahotima and Opals had sons Oklahoma and Nittekechi whom were Mingos of Choctaw Nations.
This is info from books about Jack Amos - written by Greg Brigham and Dr Harold Graham

Nahotima Choctaw

it my understanding that Nahotima Rebecca Cravat "Cole" was the daughter of Roscoe or James Cole and Shumaka and not related to Pushmataha..

That is correct, and the name Nahotima was not shown in any record until 1930s in a DAR article. it is highly suspect as a source.

wasn't Chief Robert Cole the successor after Chief Pushmataha passed?

Family search has Nahotima b abt 1744 d 1842 Mount Vernon, Mobile Alabama and married to unknown Choctaw Trader
siblings- Hushiyukpa (female) b 1751 d 1792 married James Garland
and Pushmataha b 1764 d 1824

triangulation on DNA is not enough proof for changes-
will dig deeper on spare time for cousin lines
