Thomas Crowell - Are these different men?

I believe it is the same man,their name was Crow then by some of the family changed it to Crowell.It is confusing. Minetta Brown

There was Thomas Crowe,married Deborah Wamsutta (Native American)Thomas was born-1649,Deborah was born;1652,dgt.of Alexander Wamsutta from Pokanoket Tribe.She
was my 7th gr.grandmother.Thomas was my 7th gr grandfather.They had a son Thomas Crowell-born1694 in Yarmouth,MA.he married-Experience Crowell(I believe they were first cousins.Younger Thomas was my6th gr grandfather.
