Can someone fix this please

This is almost all completely incorrect GMDIR p 171 Unknown; 1639; Salisbury, Amesbury [SyTR 7; Lydia Harmon Anc 57-65; Pillsbury Anc 579-83]

Y DNA evidence proves he was not related to Simon. Robert Charles Anderson Great Migration study shows he has no relationship to Simon. He had two wives named Francis but the maiden name of both is unknown.

m1 before 1635 Frances(1) Unknown (some say she was Mary Frances Jewell) (who d 23 12m 1642); children (last three documented; first two supposed):

5. Elizabeth, d John and Frances, 23: 12 m: 1642 (23 Feb 1642/3)[8][10] NOTE: Day first wife died; therefore John's first wife likely died from complications related to childbirth.

m2 abt 1643 Frances(2) Unknown (some say she was Frances Tuxberry; Torrey says his first wife might have been a Tuxberry[11]) (who d aft 1664); children:

4. Sarah, d John and Frances [2d w Ct. R.], 16: 11m: 1644;(16 Jan 1644/5 (p. 24)[8][10] d 26:12m:1644[10]
5. Mary d John and Frances [2d w ct. r], 20: 12m: 1645 (20 Feb 1645/6);[10] probably married Christopher Bartlet, of Newbury Dec. 19 or 17, 1663. (p. 24)[8]
6. Joseph, s John and Frances, 2d w., 13: 3m: 1648 (13 May 1648); d 19:2m:1648 (19 April 1648) according to the records. Probably a mistake in the month of one record. (p. 25)[8][10]

9. Naomy, d John and Frances, 2d w., 23: 11m: 1654 (23 Jan 1654/5);[8][10] probably m. John Lovejoy, Andover, March 23, 1677-8. (p. 25)[8]
10. Dorethie, d. John and Frances, 2d w., 13: 2m: 1656 (13 April 1656) (p. 25)[8][10]
11. Mehetabel, d John sr and Frances, 25: 8m: 1664 (25 Oct. 1664). (p. 25)[8][10]

I don't have time to fix this today but maybe someone could take this project on please.

Sgt. John HOYT was born on 12 MAR 1613/14 in Upwey, Dorset, England. He died on 28 FEB 1688 at Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts. He was buried on 29 FEB 1688 in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts. He has Ancestral File Number 93W3-H9.

Notes

"Was one of the original settlers of Salisbury Mass. His age at that time can not be accurately determined, but, from the fact that he had at least two children born previous to 1639, it seems probable that he was born about 1610-15. He was chosen selectman, March, 1681-2 and moderator of town-meeting, Apr 1687 (the same yr he died) hence he could not have been very agaed and infirm at that time. Whether he came directly from England, or had previously lived in other towns in America, is uncertain."There is an excellent write up of him. On pp 19 it says he "was a Sergeant of the Salisbury Military Co. and was frequently called Sargent Hoyt".. He had two wives, both named Frances. He probably married his first wife about 1635, though we have found no record of it...The town records of Amesbury state that Sargent John Hoyt died on ye 28ti day & was buried on ye 29 day of Feb. An. Dom.1687-88. The County records at Salem state that he died on the 29th of Feb, but the town records are probably correct. Sources stated as #Old Norfolk C. Records. Norfolk included Amesbury, Exeter, Hampton, Haverhill, Salisbury,--towns north of the Merrimack. Also the Hist. and Genealogical Register, Jan., 1852, p.53abt 1635 when John was 25, he first married Frances.

Sincerely,

Lord Bruce Ross Myers

Extensive research shows 11 children from 2 unknown wives, both named Frances with unproven last names of Jewell and Tuxberry. Parents are unknown, as is birth year and location, although most likely in England before 1614 based on the age of the children. Relationships are locked to limit the connections to Simon Hoyt of West Hatch, whose son John was baptized in 1628 and is much younger than this John Hoyt.

The about section is not policed, only the data appearing in the profile itself.

So, with that said, what needs changing?

Hopefully, you can get sorted and Relationship Lock all to keep from future merge problems in the future.
