John W. Lauderdale, Sr. - Parents are Incorrect

James Maitland and Jean Gordon were not his parents. You can research them both and find this out. Note: there was more than one Jean Gordon of Sutherland.

His father was James "The Immigrant" Lauderdale (1680-1736/38) Orange, Augusta, VA.

He did not marry Millbury Maudlin b. 1722. Millbury married John Wood Lauderdale (1747-1830)
