I haven't read all of it, and this only gives us a preview, but this author only speculates as to her mother's parentage, describing it as "unknown".

Debra, thanks for those great links. Great info. And it says the same as the other sites:
"As are all life stories, that of Joan of England’s is complicated; the complexities of which are further irritated by a dearth of contemporaneous material related to her. The identity of her mother remains a mystery..."
Even the names Clementia or Pinel aren't mentioned.
I think since there doesn't seem to be real proof of her mother's identity that certainly beyond Clementia is very speculative and should be disconnected. Wikipedia states that Clementia was a concubine, which is probably true, but no one else seems to have even a first name for her, much less a married name and parents.
I wonder where that info came from that is connected here on Geni. Maybe the people who created and connected the profiles will provide some input here. Meanwhile, if left connected just on speculation, it's giving false pathways on Geni.
I suggest detaching Henry Pinel , Geoffroy d'Arcy ,and Agnes NN for utterly longstanding lack of evidence.
I agree with Wikitree:calling her "Clementia Unknown" b. ca. 1165. The curator rightly will not connect her to parentage or a husband via posited guesswork. — https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Unknown-225826
