Seeking descendant of Harold Thorner (1872 -1930 who will compared DNA with John A F Corgan (1948- )
Armed with lots of DNA sites and YDNA and Family Finder results, John A F Corgan is hoping to learn the identity of his biological paternal grandfather. His father, Francis John Henry Corgan, was born in Brooklyn in September 1902. John, born in 1948, inherited his Ashkenazi genes via his paternal line. Using the closest Y DNA matches we have determined he is a descendant of Herszek "Harris" Thorner (1841-1923) through one of his sons.
If a descendant of Harold Thorner will share his/her DNA results with us, we will be able to determine which brother, Harold or Gustav. (Gustav had no children of record for John to compare to.)
